Perfect getaway for couples

Let me tell you, the terrace with the jacuzzi overlooking St Peter’s Cupola was just tremendous, we’d unwind every evening there. Plus, the staff was super responsive, they made our stay feel like we were VIPs, even remembering our coffee preferences at breakfast.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but you know what? It was worth it.

This place suits me perfectly with its free wi-fi, seasonal outdoor pool, and helpful 24-hour reception. The staff once returned documents I accidentally left, which was so kind. I’ll always recommend it for a romantic escape!

The spacious family room accommodated four with two king-sized beds and ample space for furniture. Breakfast offered a solid variety including bacon, eggs, and pastries, making it a solid start to the day.

The hotel showcased signs of aging, with scuffed walls and worn-out carpets hinting at past glory that’s now faded. The bathrooms left much to be desired. one had stains in the tub and a loose faucet, while another featured a sliding closet that was difficult to operate. The nearest metro station was quite a trek, making it a hassle with luggage, and I did encounter a bit of crowding during breakfast with delays in replenishing the food items. Additionally, the lack of reliable amenities, like the poorly functioning air conditioning and inconsistent Wi-Fi, made for a less-than-ideal experience overall.

Clean rooms, amazing staff, great location.

I enjoyed my stay at Cardinal Hotel St Peter. The rooftop view of the Basilica captivated me as an art historian. Although the location required some transit to main attractions, the charming residential area provided a nice escape. The breakfast options impressed my culinary expectations.

More shade by the pool would have been nice.

I enjoyed the spacious Classic Double or Twin Room. The outdoor swimming pool was refreshing and had plenty of sunbeds. The staff provided excellent assistance and were always friendly. Location was convenient with easy access to public transport. A great place for a comfortable stay! ☀️

great price but needs some maintenance

Our room was exceptionally clean, and the beds provided a very comfortable night's sleep. The staff were genuinely friendly, making our stay more enjoyable.

The building shows signs of age, and one of the elevators was out of service.
